Weeelll they're at it again. Sony's getting a patent for a way to stop used game sales by making disks registered for individual consoles

I really dont get it. Doing this essentially kills off a bunch of stuff. Rental companies cant do business, you cant lend a game to your friend, actual game retailers are pretty much fucked.

Pretty much a huge fuck you to part of their audience.
