Was thinking of going for the HTC Windows 7 phone.

Ghost, you wanna make sure those phones are unlocked first?

And I doubt that if Ck acquires an iPhone that he'd have any idea how to get a SIM card inside of it.

But Ck, if you wanna get a good phone, just try to make sure that the plan you get with it isn't going to rape you in the long run, especially if you pay your own bills.

Both the Xperia's and the iPhone 3GS are unlocked and region free. Its easy to get the SIM cards inside the iPhones, all you need is a tooth-pick.

My boss got me an iPhone 4 for work so I currently have 2 Sony Xperia X10's and a iPhone 3GS I am selling.

yep if you plan on getting a smart phone you're gonna need a decent data plan

That sounds like a great deal if that £150 is a one time fee...In the US, a plan like that would cost $120 a month ~ £60

If you're gonna get a 24 month contract, just make sure you get a phone that looks like it won't go obsolete for 2 years. Xperia will probably last like 1.5 more years so that seems like a good choice.

And remember Ck, don't get a phone just for the 'show off' value because 80% of the time, it's in your pocket. A nice phone isn't going to get you laid. Get one that fits your lifestyle the best.
